Assistant Regional Nurse Consultant

Big River Nursing & Rehab - Summary Description:
Responsible for overseeing all Clinical Services for each facility.
This position will help us oversee all Skilled Nursing Facilities.
This role reports to the Regional Nurse Consultant-Director of Clinical Services.
The purpose of this position is to provide clinical support and guidance to the Directors of Nursing each of the assigned centers.
Regional Nurse Consultant-Director of Clinical Services will assist to drive the clinical services to attain and maintain the highest level of quality care which will drive quality outcomes and highest achievable star rating.
This will include being a resource for administrative needs, creating strategic initiatives, developing systems, and ensuring outstanding nursing care.
Responsibilities of the Regional Nurse Consultant:
Accept and support the philosophy of care in our skilled nursing facilities and promote REACH core values.
Responsible for monitoring and evaluating the quality and appropriateness of nursing and other direct care in the facilities Develop and or assist to develop and implement QAPI programs in the facilities Ensure compliance with all rules and regulations, safeguarding that care is provided in accordance with nursing standards of practice Assist facilities with recruitment, interviewing and hiring of Nursing Administrative staff Assist DONs and other administrative staff with goal setting; provide consultative help to ensure facilities have necessary systems, policies, and programs in place Mitigating Risk issues Overseeing all clinical operations and driving quality outcomes at all facilities in the assigned division Must be an RN (Registered Nurse), licensed in Missouri Must have clinical experience in a long term care facility Must have working knowledge of rules and regulations governing long term care facilities Must have supervisory experience, preferably in a long term care facility Self starter with demonstrated ability to work well in stressful situations Excellent relationship building and communication skills Regular travel and will be required to support building onsite as necessary If needed, will cover DON position until one is hired.
Will support clinical services.
Will assist in preparing for survey and or during survey activity as assigned by the RNC or CNO.

Supports the Directors of Nursing and Clinical to provide Clinical oversight of each facility.

Safety, including precautions and safe work practices, established fire/safety/disaster plans, risk management, and security, report and/or correctunsafe working conditions, equipment repair and maintenance needs.
Confidentiality and privacy of all data, including patient/resident, employeeand operations data.
Compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Compliance with and enforcement of current law and policy to provide a workenvironment free from harassment and all illegal and discriminatory behavior.
Supports and participates in common teamwork:
Cooperates and works together with all co-workers; plan and complete jobduties with minimal supervisory direction, including appropriate judgment.
Uses tactful, appropriate communications in sensitive and emotionalsituations.
Reports complaints, problems and concerns regarding co-workers,management or residents in accordance with company policy.

Completes requirements for in-service training, acceptable attendance,uniform and dress codes including personal hygiene, and other work duties as assigned.

Employment Standards:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
