Kelly Services is seeking a Purchasing / Procurement Coordinator in Fenton, MO! DIRECT HIRE OPPORUTNITY Location:

Procurement Clerk Function:
The Procurement Clerk will provide procurement support to the site and individual departments, including document review, purchase request processing, supplier communication, and support as required.
Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:
1.
Maintain/manage open purchase requisitions 2.
Request and manage quotations from suppliers 3.
Process/review purchase requisitions for accuracy and create subsequent purchase orders with required documentation within SAP 4.
Ensure timeliness of procurement for critical orders as required by departments 5.
Work with Procurement Specialist to review/resolve open and past due purchase orders 6.
Assist SAP users with creation of purchase requisitions as required 7.
Review provide management with key reports on procurement activities Monthly/Quarterly/Annually Skills and Abilities Required:
1.
Understanding of procure-to-pay cycle 2.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications 3.
Ability to organize and prioritize tasks 4.
Ability to work in a cross-functional environment 5.
Timely completion of responsibilities 6.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills 7.
Strong communication skills written and verbal Minimum Education and Experience Required:
Associate s degree, preferably in supply chain, materials management, or related field 0-2 years of directly related experience in purchasing, or inventory management, preferably in a specialty chemical, food, or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment Experience and proficiency within MRP/ERP systems, preferably SAP Preferred Education and
Experience:
Bachelor s degree, preferably in supply chain, materials management, or related field Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
